2. Collection and storage of personal data

When you use the contact form, we store your name, your email address and your message in order to answer your enquiry. The data is used for this purpose only.

3. Appointment booking

For online appointment booking we use the meetergo service (meetergo GmbH, Kölner Landstraße 11, 40591 Düsseldorf, Germany). When you book an appointment, your first name, last name, email address and optional message are transmitted to meetergo and processed there to carry out the appointment and send reminder emails. Data is transmitted only after your explicit consent in the booking form (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Details can be found in the meetergo privacy policy.

4. Embedded YouTube videos

Individual blog articles may contain videos provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (YouTube). We use a two-click solution and YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. No connection to YouTube is made when you open the page. Only after you explicitly click “Load and play video” is the video loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. Your IP address, device data and usage data in particular may then be transmitted to and processed by YouTube or Google. Processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Alternatively, you can open the video directly on YouTube using the labelled external link. More information is available in Google's privacy policy.

5. Google Analytics

With your consent via the cookie notice, I use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand which pages are visited. No analytics script is loaded before you consent. I use Google Consent Mode v2: all consent signals are denied by default; after your consent only analytics storage is granted, advertising features stay disabled and IP addresses are truncated. Page views and selected clicks (e.g. on booking, WhatsApp or sharing) are recorded, but no form content. Cookies are set and data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting this site’s website data or cookies in your browser; the notice will then appear again on your next visit. 6. Maps from OpenStreetMap

On the places pages I show an interactive map. The map images are loaded from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. Your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap in the process. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in presenting the places clearly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 7. External links, social media and sharing

This website does not embed any social media plugins. Links to Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn and the share buttons below articles are ordinary links: a connection to the provider is only made when you click them. After that, the provider’s privacy policy applies. External links in texts only open in a new tab after you confirm.

8. Legal basis and storage period

Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed to handle your enquiry.
