Becoming whole in nature · · 1 min read

Healing through nature – what it can mean

"Healing" is a big word. Why I use it carefully and what kind of becoming whole nature can offer you.

When people speak of the "healing power of nature", they rarely mean healing in the medical sense. They mean a feeling: becoming whole again, coming back to themselves.

Healing and becoming whole

I distinguish between healing as medical treatment and becoming whole as an inner process. The first belongs in medical and therapeutic hands. The second can begin wherever you feel safe, connected and not judged, for example in the forest.

What nature can offer

  • Recovery: a break from stimuli and demands
  • Self-awareness: space to feel how you really are
  • Belonging: the experience of being part of something larger
  • Rhythm: growth and decay, which can make your own transitions easier to understand

Important

Sylvotherapy does not promise to cure illness and does not replace treatment. It can accompany you on your path, as a complement and at your own pace.

Sometimes becoming whole begins with simply breathing again.
